Congregation Anshe Lubavitch is established.

[1923] The congregation meets initially at 179 Glenway Street. It subsequently moves to Ellington Street, then Mount Bowdoin Hall on Washington Street, then becomes the Lubavitcher Shul of Brighton when it moves to 239 Chestnut Hill Avenue in 1963.
