Boston Five Cents Savings Bank Building is built.
1926
Architect: Parker, Thomas & Rice. Designed in the Classical Revival style, it is located at 10 – 32 School Street. An addition is built in 1972.* The bank becomes Citizens Bank in 1993. The building is occupied by Borders Bookstore from 1996 to 2011, and is currently occupied by Walgreen’s drugstore.
