New England Baptist Hospital Haskell (Edward H.) Home for Nurses is built.
1923
Designed in the Georgian Revival style (Queen Anne style) and named for a paper company president and hospital trustee, it is located at 220 Fisher Avenue (63 Parker Hill Avenue) . The building serves as the nurses dormitory for the School of Nursing, which was established in 1896. Additions are built in 1931 and 1940. The building is converted into an assisted living facility in 2001.
