St. George Orthodox Church of Boston (first) is built.

It is located at 154 Tyler Street. The congregation was founded in 1900 and met initially in the home of Fr. George Maloof at 6 Oxford Street, then at 38 Edinboro Street, and 32 Hudson Street. It moves to a new building (second) on James Street in 1953,* and then to another (third) on Emmonsdale Road in 1979.*
