Hutchinson (Anne) statue is dedicated.

Artist: Cyrus Dallin. The statue is installed on the grounds of the State House. The first statue of a woman to be installed in Boston, its model was a likeness of Hutchinson’s daughter Susanna, the only survivor of the attack by Native Americans that killed her mother and five of her brothers and sisters.
