Architect: Edward T.P.F. Graham. The building’s bronze doors are sculpted by Roger Burnham. Originally the Forsyth Dental Infirmary for Children, it is located at 140 Fenway. The first pediatric dental hospital in thee U.S., the clinic opens in January 1915, provides “nearly free treatment” for children” (for years, each child is charged a nickel), and pioneers the use of fluoride to treat cavities. It affiliates with Harvard Dental School in 1955, becomes the Forsyth Dental Center in 1962, the Forsyth Institute in 1999, and moves to Cambridge in 2010. The building is purchased by the Museum of Fine Arts in July 2007.
