March 30, 1909
Boston 1915 Committee. The 16-point plan is updated over the next few years years. Described by the Boston Herald as “A far reaching plan for making the Boston of 1915 the finest in the world . . . by applying to the activities of the city what every well-managed business partnership applies to its factories, shop or store.” The plan culminates in a report and proposal to the Massachusetts legislature in 1912.*
