Girls Latin (second) opens.

Architect: Peabody & Stearns. It is located on today’s Evans Way (Palace Road) in a four-building complex with Boston Normal School and the High School of Commerce. Girls Latin moves to Codman Square in 1955, to Ipswich Street in 1981, and to its current location on Townsend Street in 1991.
