Christmas Caroling tradition on Beacon Hill begins.

[1907] The tradition begins on Chestnut Street when Ralph Adams Cram and some friends sing “Adeste Fidelis” at their neighbors’ doorways. It prompts establishment of the Chestnut Street Christmas Association, which continues today.
