Skinner (Ernest M.) Company is established.

Founded by Ernest Skinner, the company moves to a new factory building at the corner of Crescent Avenue and Sydney Street in 1914. It becomes the Aeolian-Skinner Organ Company in 1932 and produces the highest quality church organs in the U.S. Skinner and his son subsequently found the Ernest M. Skinner & Son Company in Methuen in 1937.
