East Boston High School (third) is built.

Architect: John Faxon. It is located at 127 Marion Street. Replaced by a new school (fourth) in 1926,* the building is subsequently renamed the Barnes (Joseph H.) School, after the East Boston Civil War veteran. It closes in 1986.
