Youth’s Companion Building is built.

Architect: Hartwell & Richardson. The building includes a five-story, buff-colored brick facade and is located at 209 Columbus Avenue (then 201 Columbus Avenue). The magazine moves to its new address at the same time it mounts a campaign for a national school day honoring Christopher Columbus.
