Report of the Rapid Transit Commission.

(March) The report recommends the widening and realignment of various streets, construction of a streetcar subway and elevated rapid transit service, and the consolidation of Boston’s seven railroad terminals into North and South Union stations. The report pays particular attention to the so-call “Congested District” of downtown Boston.
