Streetcar line begins operating to Forest Hills.

The line runs along South Street and Centre Street. It begins operating to Brookline on August 4, 1894. New tracks from Forest Hills to South Street open on May 17, 1902 and from Centre Street to Huntington Avenue on July 11, 1903, offering the first continuous ride to Park Street. The line is replaced by a subway in 1941.*
