Trinity Church Rectory is built.

Architect: H.H. Richardson. It is located at 233 Clarendon Street. The over-size doorway is said to have been built to accommodate the bulk of its first occupant, Rev. Phillips Brooks. The stained glass windows are by Sarah Wyman Whitman. A third story is added in 1893.
