Le Moyne (McPherson) House is built.

Architect: Alfred Bither. One of four contiguous houses built by Samuel Ames, its first occupants are the merchant and his wife. Subsequent occupants include James Jackson Storrow Jr. and his wife Helen Osborn Storrow from 1891 until approximately 1893. The building is converted to a lodging house in 1949, apartments in 1960, and back to a single-family home in 2006.
