Boston Police Department Division 13 Station is built.

[1874-Wells] Architect: George Clough. Designed in the High Victorian Gothic Style, it is located at 28 Seaverns Avenue (28 – 34). The first police station in Jamaica Plain, it is joined to an adjacent court house in 1892.* The station subsequently moves to 3345 Washington Street. Both Seaverns Avenue buildings are subsequently converted to residential use, the police station in 1987.*
