Morgan Memorial Church is established.

Originally Morgan Chapel, it is holds its services in the former Indiana Street Congregational Church (Church of the Disciples) at the corner of Shawmut Avenue and Indiana Place (later Corning Street). Henry Morgan is the first pastor. The congregation is renamed Morgan Memorial Church and a charity of the same name is established in 1895.* A new church is built in 1917.*
