Novelty Wood Works Building is built.

Built by owner John McNutt, it is located at 38 Wareham Street. It is one of the earliest woodworking firms in the area. Soon, the block from 11 – 87 Wareham Street is filled with woodworking, cabinet making, milling, and molding shops.
