Church of the Good Samaritan is built.

The church is located on Harrison Avenue at Gloucester Place. It serves the Christian Unity Society, which was formed in 1859. Charles Rich is the first minister. The congregation met first on Gloucester Place, then in vestry of the South Congregational Church. It closes in or after 1878.
