Burkhardt (G.F.) Brewery (second) is built.

It is located initially at the corner of Parker Street and Station Street. The complex eventually grows to 11 buildings. The company begins brewing Red Sox Beer to commemorate the team’s world championship in 1912, continues as a brewery until Prohibition in 1919, and remains in operation producing cereal and other grain products until 1929.
