Unity Church is built.

Also known as the Unity Chapel and Washington Village Chapel, it is located on Dorchester Street. The congregation was established earlier in the year. Edmund Squire is the first minister. The congregation is dissolved in 1899 and is subsequently served by the Channing Church in Dorchester.
