First Unitarian Church in East Boston is dedicated.

The church is located on Maverick Street at the corner of Bremen Street. The congregation formed in 1835. Leonard Livermore was the first minister, but he subsequently resigned. Warren Cudworth becomes minister on March 17, 1852.
