Third Unitarian Church in Dorchester (first) holds its first service.

May 13, 1852

It is located at the corner of Neponset Avenue and Mill Street. The congregation was established by members of the First Church in Dorchester. Charles Brooks is the first minister. The congregation changes its name to the Harrison Square Unitarian Society in 1874, and to Christ Church when it moves into a new building (second) on Dix Street in 1894.* The congregation is dissolved in 1976.
