All Souls Church (first) is built.
1846
Originally the Mount Pleasant Congregational Society, it is located at the corner of Dudley and Greenville Streets. The congregation was established on February 3, 1845. William Alger, brother of Horatio Alger Jr., is the first minister. The congregation moves to a new church (second) on Warren Street and become All Souls Church in 1888.* The congregation is dissolved in 1923.
