St. James Church is built.

[1833-Heath] Architect: Richard Upjohn. [?] It is located at on St. James Street. The first Anglican church in Roxbury, its congregation had been founded in 1832. Rev. M.A. DeWolf Howe is the first minister. The building is subsequently demolished as part of the Washington Park urban renewal plan.
