Charles Kemble and Fanny Kemble make their Boston debuts.

April 15, 1833

(& 4/16) Charles appears in Hamlet and his daughter in Fazio, or the Italian Wife, on consecutive nights at the Tremont Theatre. During their engagement, they appear together in The Stranger, Romeo and Juliet, School for Scandal, Provoked Husband and Gamester. Tickets are sold at auction for their performances. They return to Boston for an 18-night engagement at the Tremont Theatre on September 4, 1833.
