Hawes Place Church (first) is dedicated.

Originally the Hawes Place First Congregational Unitarian Society, the church is located on Hawes Place. The congregation was established on October 27, 1819. Thomas Pierce is the first minister. A new church (second) is built in 1872.* The congregation is dissolved in 1957.
