Hart (Thomas N.) is born in North Reading.

January 20, 1829

Thomas Hart comes to Boston as a penniless young man, then goes on to make a fortune in the hat and fur business, and become a bank president. He serves on the Boston Common Council (1879-1881), the Board of Aldermen (1882 & 1884-85), and as mayor of Boston (1889-90, 1900-01). Hart lives at 85 Worcester Street. He dies on October 4, 1927.
