Greene (Elizabeth Copley) House is built.

Originally the Rollins House, it is located at today 32 Beacon Street. The home is purchased by the widow of Boston’s richest businessman and daughter of the painter in 1832, then by Patrick Tracy Jackson in 1835. It is torn down and replaced by a new building in 1927.*
