King’s Chapel Parish House is built.

Architect: Ephraim Marsh. Designed in the late Federalist and early Greek Revival style, it is located at 64 Beacon Street. Its famous purple glass windows are installed beginning in 1818.* The house remains in the Bryant family until it is purchased by L. Vernon Briggs in 1908 and subsequently becomes the King’s Chapel Parish House.
