Lincoln (Frederick Jr.) is born in Boston.

February 27, 1817

Frederick Lincoln Jr. attends public and private schools and becomes a successful manufacturer of nautical instruments. He serves in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, then is elected to a record seven terms as mayor of Boston (1858-60 and (1863-66). Lincoln lives at 19 Louisburg Square. He dies on September 13, 1898, and is buried in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
