Morton (Perez) House is built.
1796
(ca.) Architect: Charles Bulfinch. It is located at the corner of today’s Dudley Street and Burgess Street and across from the James Swan House near today’s 636 Dudley Street. Built for Bulfinch’s cousin, Sarah Wentworth (Apthorp) Morton, it is purchased by William Swan in 1841 and subsequently purchased by the Taylor family. The building is demolished in 1891.
