Thompson (Timothy) House is built.

[ca.-Bagley]) Built by Timothy Thompson for his son, it is designed in the Georgian-Federal style and located at 109 Main Street. The house is subsequently occupied by U.S. Rep. Benjamin Thompson (1842-1852). The building becomes the Middlesex House among other public houses, is used for other commercial purposes, and is restored by James Rivers Adams in the late 20th century.
