General Court is prorogued.

By order of the king, the legislature is suspended and acting Gov. Hutchinson subsequently moves the General Court to Cambridge, despite the protest of members to meet anywhere but Boston. The court convenes in Cambridge on March 15, 1770 and continues to meet there for the next two years.
