Everett (Edward) House (first) is built.

1765

(ca.) Built by Robert Oliver, it is located at today’s 256 Boston Street. The house is acquired by Rev. Oliver Everett in approximately 1766. Edward Everett is born here in 1794. The family moves to Boston in 1802. The building is demolished 1898 and the site is today occupied by three-decker and a Dunkin’ Donuts.
