Clough (Ebenezer) House is built.

(ca.) Designed in the Georgian style, it is one of six identical houses built by Clough, a member of the Sons of Liberty and a participant in the Boston Tea Party, and is located at 21 Unity Street. Occupied by numerous families over the years, it is purchased by the city in 1944, then by the Old North Church in 1959. The building is restored in 1972.
