James Printer is granted amnesty.

The General Court instructs Daniel Gookin to order the Native American Cambridge printer to demonstrate his loyalty “by bringing some of the enemies heads.” According to Jill Lepore, “apparently Printer succeeded in securing the necessary badges of fidelity and returned to English society; he soon returned to his work at the Cambridge Press.”
