Noddles Island is purchased by Samuel Shrimpton.

1670

Shrimpton builds a summer home there, and the Shrimpton family leases the island for farming to Henry Howell Williams and his son from 1764 to 1830. The last Shrimpton daughter marries Deacon Thomas Greenough, then William Hyslop. The families share ownership of the island until it is purchased by a group of developers in 1833.*
