In his book Wonder-Working Providence, he writes, “They have very goodly fruit trees, fruitful fields and gardens, their hearde of cowes, oxen, and other young cattell of their kind about 350, and dwelling-houses neare upon 120. Their streets are large and some fayre houses . . .”
