Roxbury Latin (first) is built.

The school’s first new building is located off Guild Row in today’s Dudley Square. The school is replaced by new buildings (second) in 1742 and (third) in 1789. It moves to a new building (fourth) on Kearsage Avenue in 1860* and then to its current campus in West Roxbury in 1927.*
