Winthrop (John) House (second) is built.
1643
It is located near today’s 280 Washington Street. The house subsequently becomes the parsonage of the Old South Church. William Bradford’s manuscript Of Plimouth Plantation makes its way here until moved to the Old South Church in 1757. The building is torn down by the British in 1775.
