Pound for stray animals is established.

It is located behind the Granary Burying Ground at today’s 5 Park Street. The town had earlier voted to establish a pound at Pullen Poynt Necke in today’s Winthrop on February 23, 1634. The pound is subsequently moved to today’s 5 Park Street (6) (then Sentry Lane) in 1720.
