Sea Fort is proposed in Boston Harbor.

The Court of Assistants proposes construction of a floating, anchored gun platform in Boston Harbor to protect the town from any attempts supporters of Robert Gorges claim to the territory claimed by the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Although the idea is dropped, plans are made to fortify Castle Island to protect the harbor.
