It is located at today’s 27 State Street. Construction of the mud-walled, thatched-roof building, began on August 15, 1632 (OS-8/5). The building is also used for meetings of the General Court and town meetings until 1640. It is replaced by a new building (second) on Washington Street in 1639.*
