Three men are convicted of stealing corn from Chickataubut and his tribe.

Josiah Plaistowe and two of his servants are convicted of stealing four baskets of corn from Native Americans. As punishment, Plaistowe is forced to return eight baskets of corn, pay a fine of five pounds, and is deprived of his title of “gentleman.”
